Go Live Workflow/Process
Overview
The "Go Live" Process for Community Colleges requires a coordinated effort between the campuses, the NCCS System Office, and CFNC.
The annual application changes include: system-wide changes to the applications, Colleague changes, and CrossRoute changes.
Because of the coordination between the entities, as well as bandwidth, "Go Live" is scheduled for several days. Due to the Colleague/CrossRoute changes, all applications for each college must Go Live at the same time. For colleges with CCP applications, 3 colleges will Go Live per day. For colleges without a CCP application, 7 colleges will Go Live per day.

Verify your college's scheduled date
- Verify the scheduled date via email
- Subject: Please Confirm: CFNC App Go Live Date

2. Install the NCCCSO patches prior to Go Live date

Who's who (roles or names):
- Admissions Director - The point person for App update at your college
- CrossRoute Admin - The point person for CrossRoute updates
- IT Admin - The person who installs and updates the NCCCSO Patches. (Note: this might be the same person as CrossRoute Admin)
- Breé – Your CFNC Point Person for this process
- NCCCSO - The NCCC System Office
Current status:
- Your applications for UG, CCP, and CIHS have been updated in BETA CrossConnect
- Several test applications have been submitted; you may submit more if you would like
- You are scheduled for a Go Live Date
Go Live Workflow/Process
Do ASAP: Verify your college's scheduled date

Pre-Go Live Date
- Assemble the team & verify access/logins
- Complete a UAT on each application in BETA
- Install NCCCSO Patches
Day Before Go Live
- Breé Confirms College is on Schedule
- CrossRoute Admin to disable current CrossRoute schedules
Day-Of Go Live
The actual time of the work varies depending on the bandwidth, but the workflow process is the same. Please see below for the workflow and send any questions to Breé at cfnc-campus@cfnc.northcarolina.edu
- CFNC updates and tests Applications
- Breé Sends College Update on App Status
- Admissions Director Reviews Application
- CrossRoute Admin downloads latest CrossRoute version (2.0.9573)
- CrossRoute Admin sends Breé Screenshot of CrossRoute Version
- College exports applications through CrossRoute. Re-enable schedules.
- Admission Director checks Colleague for applications & notes any errors
- Admission Director lets Breé know if they approve the updates
- Breé sends daily status update to NCCCSO
- Post-Go Live: Update non-Colleague exports
