New Notification for a Started Application

You want to create a new notification that will send an email to all students who start an application to your campus.

  1. Make sure that Application Started is selected
  2. Click on the + New button
  3. Select “Yes” for the Enabled question if you would like this to start immediately sending
  4. Type “All Started Applications” in the Name field
  5. Type in your Admissions’ Office email address in the Sender Email field
  6. Select Applicant Email for the Subscriber Type
  7. Type your subject in the Subject field (suggested you include your campus name)
  8. Type your message and be sure to include your admissions office information so they can contact you if they have any questions
  9. Click the Save button ()

New Notification to an Applicant's Email Address

You want to send an email notification to a student’s email after they submit their application

  1. Make sure that Application Submitted is selected 
  2. Click on the + New button
  3. Type “Submitted Application Notification” in the Name field
  4. Select “Yes” for the Enabled question if you would like this to start immediately sending
  5. Leave the Rule field blank
  6. For Subscriber Type select “Application Field”
  7. Select the field from your application that contains the applicant’s email address you want to send the email to, under the Application Field dropdown menu
  8. Type in your Admissions’ Office email address in the Sender Email field
  9. Type what you would like the applicant to see as the subject of the email in the Subject field (suggested you include your campus name)
  10. Enter the text that you would like applicants to see into the Message field
  11. Click the Save button ()

Notification for Applications Without a Social Security Number

You want to send an email notification to any student that submits an application without entering a Social Security Number

  1. Make sure that Application Submitted is selected 
  2. Click on the + New button
  3. Type “No Social Security Number” in the Name field
  4. Select “Yes” for the Enabled question if you would like this to start immediately sending
  5. For the Rule field, select the rule you have previously created for blank Social Security Numbers
  6. If you would like to only send this notification (and not send any other completed application emails you may have setup) check the Processing box, otherwise leave this box unchecked
  7. Type in your Admissions’ Office email address in the Sender Email field
  8. Select Applicant Email for the Subscriber Type
  9. Type what you would like students to see as the subject of the email in the Subject field (suggested you include your campus name)
  10. Enter the text that you would like students to see into the Message field
  11. Click the Save button ()

Notification for International Applications

You want to send an email notification to your international students admissions coordinator whenever an international student submits an application.

  1. Make sure that Application Submitted is selected 
  2. Click on the + New button
  3. Type “International Student Application Received” in the Name field
  4. Select “Yes” for the Enabled question if you would like this to start immediately sending
  5. Select the Rule you previously created to identify international student applications
  6. Type in your Admissions’ Office email address in the Sender Email field
  7. Select Static Email for the Subscriber Type
  8. Enter your international student admissions counselor’s email address as the static email to which notifications will be sent
  9. Enter the subject of the email in the Subject field
  10. Enter the text for the body of the email that you would like your international student counselor to see in the Message field
  11. Click the Save button ()
