2FA Authentication option: Browser Extension

After testing several options for 2FA Authentication (App on phone, password manager, and browser extension), I prefer the browser extension

If you're interested in using the authenticator directly from your browser, please see the instructions below. (Instructions assume you know how to go to the Two-Factor Authentication page in CrossConnect. CrossConnect > Your name > My Profile > Two-Factor Authentication > + Add Authenticator)

1. Click the browser extension link. You can click the blue "Add to Chrome" button or you can click the arrow next to "Chrome" to select Firefox or Edge as browser options.

4. Ensure that you see the Authenticator Icon to the right of your URL bar. The Authenticator icon looks a bit like several QR codes.

5. If you do not see the Authenticator Icon, please follow the video to add it.

6. Now, ensure that you are on the CrossConnect page with the QR code to add an authenticator. Follow the video to add the CrossConnect 2FA to the Authenticator Extension.

7. Nearly done! Now to show you how to login with the browser extension once it's authorized with CrossConnect.
