Editing and Managing Application Export Settings and Projects

Applicants | Export Settings

  • To edit an existing Export Setting, double-click on the setting you wish to edit or click the setting and then the Edit () button
    • Click the Save () button to save any edits you make
    • Or click the Cancel () button to undo any edits you make
  • To delete an existing Export Setting, click on the setting you wish to delete and then click the Delete () button

Note: If you delete an Export Project, you will be asked to confirm, since once deleted the setting cannot be restored. This is especially important for NC Community College campuses, as they should NOTdelete their Colleague import settings, “NCCCS Colleague Institutions”, “NCCCS Colleague Main” and “NCCCS Colleague Misc”

 

Applicants | Export Projects

  • To edit an existing Export Project, double-click on the project you wish to edit or click the project and then the Edit () button
    • Click the Save () button to save any edits you make
    • Or click the Cancel () button to undo any edits you make
  • To delete an existing Export Project, click on the setting you wish to delete and then click the Delete () button

Note: If you delete an Export Project, you will be asked to confirm, since once deleted the project cannot be restored. This is especially important for NC Community College campuses, as they should NOT delete their Colleague import project, “NCCCS Colleague Files”

  • If you make a change to an Export Setting that is currently already added to an Export Project, you will need to edit the Export Project, click the refresh button (mceclip0.png). This will ensure that your updated Export Setting are being used in your Export project:
    1. After making and saving changes to your Export Setting, navigate to Export Projects (Applicants | Export Projects)
    2. Select the Export Project that contains the Export Setting you just made changes to
    3. Click the Edit () button
    4. Click the refresh button (mceclip0.png)
